He is the Deputy Director at Bombay Natural History Society and runs the BNHS bird ringing and education campus at Point Calimere, a seaside location in Tamil Nadu. He had studied at Annamalai University, Chidambaram and Lives in Kanyakumari and alternatively at Point Calimere.
